300 GAMES This weekend we also celebrate one of 300 GAMES

This weekend we also celebrate one of the best people in the broader RMFL community when Brody Vandenbrink runs out for his 300th senior game.

Born and bred Meningie, Brody played all his juniors with the Bears before making his senior debut in 2005. He was a member of Meningie’s 2014 League premiership and stepped up when it mattered, vice-captain of the League side in 2019 and co-captain during the transformative years of 2021 and 2022. He became a Life Member of the Meningie Football Club in 2019 after notching up his 200th senior game.

Brody has been a great supporter of the Cats since the merger was first announced. He was runner-up Reserves Best & Fairest in 2024, despite earning veteran status some time ago. Brodes continues to give his all each week and is a crucial member of our Reserves side. He’s the first one to pick a team mate up off the deck or throw himself at the footy.

Brody – congratulations on all you have achieved both on and off the field. Our club is extremely lucky to have a person of your calibre involved.

Go well this weekend.

Its a big week for milestone games, kicking off wi Its a big week for milestone games, kicking off with George Angas.

George will run out for his 100th senior game this weekend.

George is resilience personified. He has suffered multiple season-ending or long-term injuries during his stint in senior footy, but always returns as determined as ever to help his team succeed.

He played all of his junior footy with Meningie before making his senior debut in 2014.

George’s determination and leadership on the field was recognised this year with him being named Reserves captain.

Congratulations, George!

Our junior footy stars got an unreal opportunity last week with our very own League player, Henry Carey leading a football development clinic— and they made the most of it.

Plenty of skills, plenty of energy, and plenty of smiles.

Huge thanks to Henry for giving back — nights like this make a difference.

This Saturday, we celebrate Chad Kennett — a true This Saturday, we celebrate Chad Kennett — a true grassroots footballer who’s come all the way from our founding club, Tintinara — as he runs out for his 200th senior game.

Since debuting in 2007, Chad has built an outstanding career defined by consistency, leadership, and success:
• Premiership player – 2010, 2012, 2016, 2021 (Border Downs Tintinara) & 2024 (Cats)
• Captain – BDT (2021–22), Cats (2023–25)
